We exist to engage children in a growing relationship with Christ while encouraging parents and families to do the same.

MBIC Kids Mission

Hey Moms of babies – preschoolers!

In this time of Covid-19 reality, all of us at MBIC want to make sure everyone has the support they need. And, being a mom of younger children is an especially challenging time physically, emotionally, and spiritually. So, MBIC Women’s Ministry and Children’s Ministry have partnered up to create Zoom groups for moms of babies and preschoolers to connect with each other and with a “mentor” mom. Our hope is to provide encouragement and support in this time of crisis.

K - 4th grade

Wednesday night Quest gives kids another weekly opportunity to explore a personal relationship with Jesus through hands-on activities and small group times that complement our Sunday morning curriculum.

Here is some information to help make their first visit… and yours… as easy and enjoyable as possible! We’re looking forward to connecting with your family!

First time guests will be greeted and checked in at the Welcome Desk. Each week after, you may check-in at one of our kiosks (there will be greeters to help you if you’re stuck!). When you check your child in, you will receive a name tag for them and a matching security tag for you. Hang on to your security tag, you will need it to pick your child up. Once you have checked in, take your child(ren) to their age appropriate classroom (each one is marked or ask a greeter!). If you have any questions or concerns, any of our Children’s Ministry volunteers will be happy to help.

You will pick up your child(ren) at the classroom you dropped them off at. We take the safety and welfare of our children seriously; they will not be released without a security tag and we will not release them to other minors, even with a tag. If your tag is lost, come to the Welcome Desk and we’ll be happy to help.

We have lots of opportunities for you to serve in Children’s Ministries! We have many little ones in our church family and can always use an extra hand!

Not sure a classroom is right for you? We could use more check-in greeters to be a welcoming face when families arrive! If you are interested in volunteering, please contact our Children’s Ministry Director.
