Updated June 5, 2020. We have set a date for in-person worship services to begin on June 14th.  This decision is one that we did not take lightly and has included much prayer, discernment, and collaboration of our leadership. We have also been continuously monitoring COVID-19 numbers in our area to make the most responsible decisions possible. We believe that the current numbers support us regathering safely.

As a church community, we are called to look out for one another, to honor one another above ourselves. Please stay home if you are exhibiting any of the COVID-19 symptoms, if you’ve had close contact with someone that has tested positive for COVID-19, or if you are awaiting a test result. As we each practice care and safety, let’s be sensitive and extend grace to another.

This regathering phase will look different, please read through the below plans & guidelines.

Starting June 14, 2020

Summer Services for Sunday Worship at MBIC

What to expect: We are aiming for a responsible and welcoming experience in a variety of ways to connect and worship with each other this Summer. The goal for each service is to be family-friendly with a length of 45 minutes to allow for an appropriate amount of time to clean and regroup for the next service. Each in-person service location has it’s own designated parking, entrance, and restrooms.

  • Arrival: Please park and enter at the recommended areas and go directly to the location of the service you are attending. Our lobbies and hallways have limited space to respect social distancing guidelines.
  • Dismissal: Please move directly to outdoor spaces to visit to ensure adequate space and time to clean between services.
  • Cleaning: We will be cleaning each location after our 9am & 10:30am services.
  • Kids: There are no childcare or classes at this time. However, our Quest Leaders miss you a lot! Stop by the South Entrance before the 9 & 10:30am services to say “hi” and pick up an activity. Additional activities will be available in the Chapel lobby for those attending Chapel Services.
