Celebrate life
Five building blocks for biblical community. So important. So profound. Yet so simple to remember and apply.
  • Connect: Making meaningful connections and getting to know each other.
  • Care: Showing interest, empathy, and a commitment to care.
  • Challenge: Being on a mission for Christ, and inviting others to join.
  • Clarity: Knowing what is expected of you, from God and others.
And last but not least: Celebrate!
Celebrating what God has done in our lives. Celebrate his love and forgiveness. Celebrate your accomplishments. Celebrate your relationships. Simply celebrate.
An old Hymn reminds us to “Count our blessings, name them one by one.” Here are a few questions that can help you count these blessings:
  • What is something in your relationship with God that deserves a celebration?
  • What is something in your community that deserves celebration?
  • What is something in your family that deserves celebration?
  • And, what is something in your community that deserves celebration?
Once you wrote these things down, think of the following:
=> What is your idea of “having a good time”? How do YOU celebrate?
Now go and do it. Celebrate the blessings that God has placed in your life. Have a good time, with God and for God. Do you need additional motivation for a good party? Nehemiah told his people to celebrate for seven straight days, only for understanding some parts of God’s Word (Neh.8). Seven days of partying. How cool is that?
Have fun celebrating.

BibleApp

Through the Bible in one Year

Join us in reading through the entire Bible in one year. Each day of this plan guides you through passages from both the Old and New Testaments, allowing you to see connections between the history of our faith, and the fulfillment of God’s redemptive plan. Readings average four chapters in length, so it is posible to do. When you use the YouVersion Bible App, you can even have the app read the Bible text to you – very useful when you are in the car or otherwise occupied with your hand.

All you need to do is click the link to the Bible Plan, which should lead you straight to the Bible app. Your two options are now (1) to read the plan on your own, one day at the time. Or (2) you can make it more fun and rewarding, by sharing the plan with one or more friends, and then even “Talk about it”.
