Group Discussion & Life Challenge
Use these notes as discussion prompts for your group, or in your personal time with God.
Connect:
Get to know each other. Connect, warm up to each other, fellowship.
Care:
Carry each other’s burdens. Share life’s challenges and practice Soul Care. Pray together.
Challenge:
1. Are we people who simply let others know that we know God, or are we people who live lives pursuing God?
2. Does your life reflect submission to authority figures? Why or why not?
3. Looking at the word for authority, exosia, as Jordan explained it, being spheres of influence. Who are the people in your life that are exercising authority and influence?
4. Are you pursuing a life of godliness, or are you pursuing a life of self?
5. Is it your goal to honor God and to submit to Him above all else? Or do other things take priority over God?
Clarify:
Does anyone need clarity on something? Are there any big God questions you are wrestling with?
Celebrate:
Celebrate life’s successes and God’s provision. Worship God’s presence. Time to brag about God.
