Challenge:
1. Why was God so grieved that He regretted making mankind? How do you reconcile this with His sovereignty?
2. What does this passage teach us about God’s justice and God’s mercy?
3. In what ways do we see the seriousness of sin reflected here?
4. In what ways do you see parallels between the sin of Genesis 6 and the world we live in today?
5. What current events grieve your heart—and how do they help you understand God’s grief in Genesis 6?
Clarify:
Does anyone need clarity on something? Are there any big God questions you are wrestling with?
Celebrate:
Celebrate life’s successes and God’s provision. Worship God’s presence. Time to brag about God.
