Use these notes as discussion prompts for your group, or in your personal time with God.
Connect:
Get to know each other. Connect, warm up to each other, fellowship.

Carry each other’s burdens. Share life’s challenges and practice Soul Care. Pray together.
Challenge:
1. When you made your list of five words that describe you, what did you notice? Were most of your answers based on your roles, your accomplishments or something else? What does that reveal about where you tend to find your identity?
2. Which of the identities Paul describes in Ephesians 1: blessed, chosen, adopted, redeemed, or forgiven, do you most need to remember right now? Why?
3. One of the closing points was, “We live from acceptance, not for acceptance”. –What does that statement mean to you?
4. How can spending time in God’s presence help shape your identity?— What is one practical step you can take this week to spend more intentional time with God and allow His truth to define who you are.
